In January 2019, podcast episodes explored a range of topics from astrophysics and psychological well-being to investigative subjects and essays. On The Joe Rogan Experience, Brian Cox discussed Kip Thorne's book "Black Holes & Time Warps: Einstein's Outrageous Legacy", highlighting Thorne's Nobel Prize, and also mentioned writing about his argument against the soul in "The Infinite Monkey Cage – How to Build a Universe".
