During February 2019, various podcasts featured discussions about new releases and personal works by their guests and hosts. On Pod Save America, the host spoke with Alyssa Mastromonaco about her new book, "So Here's the Thing . . .", noting its original planned title and subtitle. The Rubin Report featured multiple literary discussions; the host talked with Tara Smith about her book "Egoism Without Permission: The Moral Psychology of Ayn Rand's Ethics", and later interviewed Tyler Cowen, introducing him as the author of "Stubborn Attachments" and "Discover Your Inner Economist".
