Tish Rabe is a children's book author who lives in New York City, New York and Mystic, Connecticut. She has written or adapted more than 40 Dr. Seuss books since Seuss's death. During an appearance on the How I Write podcast, Rabe discussed a variety of her own published works and classic literature. She presented her recently released children's book created with the Trumbull Rotary Club, titled 'Kindness Is Caring, Friendship Is Sharing'. She also discussed her bedtime book for young children, 'Sweet Dreams Ahead Time for Bed', and described writing 'Sometimes Apart, Always in My Heart' in collaboration with the nonprofit United Through Reading to help military families stay connected during deployments. Additionally, Rabe talked about 'There's No Place Like Space! All About Our Solar System' as part of her contributions to the Cat in the Hat Learning Library, naming 'Is a Camel a Mammal?' and 'Fine Feathered Friends' as the first two books Random House asked her to write for the series.
