Kash Patel's books and book recommendations
Kashyap Pramod Patel is an American lawyer serving since 2025 as the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and previously served as acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from February to April 2025. Patel appeared on Timcast IRL in May 2022 to discuss law enforcement, government accountability, and political controversies. During the broadcast, Patel addressed investigations into the Trump administration and recommended that the audience take ninety minutes to watch the documentary film The Plot Against the President. He suggested that viewing the production would provide viewers with a clearer understanding of the origins and nature of the Russia-gate investigation. By directing listeners to the film, Patel aimed to offer an alternative perspective on the political allegations and federal inquiries that had been a major focus of media coverage and public debate during that period.
