“and at the end of the day the idea is and i tell the story that probably the most tragic section of the whole book is the story of martha fernbach who was a young girl of 15 who went out one saturday and with her friends who were all sort of teenagers around the same age they decided to”

“and i saw in action in switzerland as you know from the book you know i saw the heroin assisted treatment program where you know they treat heroin users as if they have a medical condition that needs to be helped”

“i mean i tell this tragic story in the book of of of a guy who got you know he was a heroin user and he got caught up in uh in low-level dealing and he got beaten to death for a uh for allegedly stealing a caravan”

“and and it's fascinating topic as you know it kind of it's it may well lead into another book i suspect”

“so so definitely looking ahead to potentially another book and and my book's only published today”

“i said you know looking at your system you have these millions of people 2.3 million people in prison in the states and as you know from the book i caught i call it the city of incarceration be the fifth largest city in america”
