but if you're not into that there are dozens if not hundreds of wonderful books out there that you can just pick up and and just peruse one of them that I'll quickly call out that I found extremely useful was Warren Buffett and the interpretation of financial statements Page by Page they just walk through the three financial statements that all companies are required by the law to report the income statement the balance sheet and the cash flow statement and they tell you exactly how Warren Buffett looks and thinks about each of those numbers so that is a that's a book that I just can't recommend highly enough

Brian recommends this book as extremely useful for learning how to read financial statements and understand how Warren Buffett analyzes them.
