Why people recommend it
Tools for the Master's work, comprising over 250 sermon outlines collected by J. Ellis is a collection of religious sermon outlines. On The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast in 2025, Russell Brand spoke with Jordan Peterson about the concept of living with a beginners mind and being born anew in every moment. Peterson mentioned teaching a course on The Sermon on the Mount, exploring its teachings as a foundational text for personal transformation and attention. Similarly, on This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von in 2021, the host discussed the Sermon on the Mount with Jordan Peterson, who referred to it as a reliable and wise source of guidance for navigating life. Both discussions highlighted the enduring relevance of these spiritual teachings and their capacity to reframe human consciousness and action across generations. The speakers emphasized how returning to ancient wisdom can provide modern individuals with practical mental frameworks to manage the complexities of daily existence. Through these podcast appearances, the moral and psychological dimensions of the Sermon on the Mount were examined as tools for profound inner renewal and philosophical reflection, reminding listeners of the timeless value embedded within these historic religious texts and teachings.
