The third book um is um My Promised Land by Arish Shaveet. Um which is which mirrors Rashid Khaled's hundreds horse on on on on Palestine. Um, and to me that was helpful because it shows that the Zionist colonial project started like in the 1880s and sort of confirm what Rashid Khaled say in a lot of places.

When I think about Israel I always think about this book written in 2013 By Ari chevit who's a longtime political reporter there called my promised land.
Ezra Klein The Ezra Klein Show · May 2024 Why people recommend it
My Promised Land by Ari Shavit is a political and historical non-fiction book that explores the complex origins, triumphs, and internal contradictions of the Zionist project and the history of Israel. On an episode of The Ezra Klein Show, Mahmoud Khalil recommended the book as his third choice, noting that it provides helpful historical context and parallels other major works on Palestine by showing how the Zionist colonial movement began in the 1880s. During another episode of The Ezra Klein Show, host Ezra Klein discussed the book with Ari Shavit himself, observing that the text uniquely holds both the founding idealism and the profound violence at the center of Israel's history. Ezra Klein added that he had accumulated nearly two hundred highlights in his personal notes while reading the book to prepare for the conversation.
