Jordan Peterson · The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast · Dec 2021 Listen at 2:11 Why people recommend it
Jordan Peterson, God, and Christianity by Chris Kaczor and Matthew Petrusek examines the search for a meaningful life through the lens of Christian theology in dialogue with Jordan Peterson's psychological and philosophical lectures. Jordan Peterson himself discussed the book on multiple episodes of The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast. On one occasion, he introduced the text by noting that the authors, both professors at Loyola Marymount University, had recently co-authored the book in response to his extensive biblical lecture series. On another episode, Peterson mentioned receiving an early draft of the manuscript sent to him by a bishop, detailing how it was written by theology professors engaging directly with his ideas. The podcast discussions illuminated how the book serves as a bridge between modern secular psychological frameworks and traditional religious doctrines, offering listeners a profound exploration of faith, suffering, and the human search for ultimate purpose and significance in an increasingly complex world.
