“and then uh once I read The Total Money Makeover it was game over and uh that's when I came home to her”

“um and I finally found the home base when I found Ramsey and this baby steps and I read the the book to him Money Makeover and I remember buying it at a Half Price Book store”

“and I started reading The Total Money Makeover and was It was kind of firing me up”

“so I read that to M make cover and I got a very impulsive and I basically empty our savings to wipe out uh our cars uh my student loans and uh a huge chunks to the mortgage”

“we did both read the book though I will say after we started on the podcast okay you got you got got started with the podcast the book gave you the detail that's the yeah there's Money Makeover Total Money Makeover”

“when I was a junior in high school my parents saw that I was not great with money and they were like we'll pay you twenty dollars to read The Total Money Makeover”

“so this story started about 13 years ago when we were dating he got me your Total Money Makeover book”

“so we owe 2 000 left on credit cards I I plan on having that taken care of pretty quickly we do have a car 20 000 on the car I have 23 000 in student loans and then the home is 121 000.”
