The best things said about it
Uh sticking with the the fiction and the sci-fi building off the march in the expanse i've not watched the tv show but the books are so good i feel like not enough people know about these.
I'm also reminded of the series The expanse if you have not seen it please do.
You'd become actually the place I think in science fiction that gets it the most correct is if you watch the the expanse ever watch that show no I heard it's a really good show I never got into it though.

Why people recommend it
The Expanse by James S.A. Corey is an acclaimed hard science fiction book series that portrays a sprawling, geopolitically fractured future where humanity has colonized the solar system, only to face profound existential disruptions brought on by alien technology. The novels have garnered strong recommendations from notable figures across various podcasts. Jim Pethokoukis recommended the series on The Ezra Klein Show in May 2024, praising its hard science fiction elements and its optimistic perspective on overcoming complex societal problems. Dario Amodei also endorsed the books on the same podcast in April 2024, noting that he turned to the novels after watching the television adaptation and appreciated how they effectively blend advanced technological concepts with familiar geopolitical conflicts. On This Week in Startups in December 2021, Ben Gilbert strongly endorsed the novels, remarking on their exceptional quality and expressing surprise that even more people were not yet familiar with the rich narrative universe. Additionally, on The Joe Rogan Experience in February 2020, Garrett Reisman discussed the series with the host, highlighting how accurately the story portrays the physiological adaptations of the human body to zero gravity environments. Across these recommendations, the series is consistently celebrated for its meticulous world-building, realistic scientific grounding, and compelling political drama.
