New Living Translation is a contemporary English translation of the Bible designed for accessible daily reading and modern comprehension. Tucker Carlson recommended reading this specific version of the Bible during an episode of The Tucker Carlson Show titled Tucker on Trump’s Desecration of Easter and a Warning to Christians Everywhere, which was broadcast on April 6, 2026. Tucker Carlson encouraged his audience to try out the New Living Translation, highlighting it as likely the most modern and colloquial English rendition of the scriptures available. He pointed out that it stands out as the easiest version to read and described it as a great resource for anyone seeking to engage with biblical texts without getting bogged down by archaic language. Additionally, he noted its current market availability and pricing, mentioning that it was priced at four hundred and thirty dollars on Amazon delivered directly to the buyer's home. The recommendation was part of a broader discussion encouraging contemporary Christians to return to reading and engaging with the scriptures regularly using accessible and modern translations that speak clearly to today's audiences.
