The man Booker prize was awarded this week and in what was I think a surprise choice for a lot of observers it went to George Saunders for his novel Lincoln in the BAU which was extremely well reviewed.
That's a really interesting read That's a that's a fascinating analysis and I think it is notable that both Lincoln and the Bardo and Paul the sellout which is sort of a satire about race in America deal with very American themes.
So as Lincoln is visiting his son in the cemetery all these other ghosts pipe up and that's where the the title comes from Lincoln and the BAU.
